This year is slowly coming to an end, and what a year it has been!
On the 24th of February this year, we launched the new Dstny brand. A brand to symbolize the unification of several forward-thinking companies within the Business Communications market. Dstny is a brand defined by commitment and innovation, to show that we are simplicity driven and that we have an obsession for the customer experience.
“Under the bonnet of the Dstny brand, we are merging all the services and technologies into accessible value propositions for companies, partners, and service providers.” said our CEO, Daan De Wever, on the day of the launch.
But even before the 24th, we had started planning, preparing, and building on what was to come. And the pace, throughout the year, has been immense.
A vast amount of work has gone into refining legacy products, adding new features and capabilities, and improving the user experience with new UI, keeping simplicity for the end-user at the top of our minds throughout every step. We have also built and launched new products to strengthen our proposition towards service providers, to partners and to our end-users, making sure that our services are relevant both now and in the future.
Endowments and awards
And we have gotten many indications that we are on the right path. The placement on the Frost & Sullivan Frost Radar™ report is one of those indicators, showing that we are a leading UCaaS provider.

And other awards, such as; The Best SaaS Product for Communication Collaboration or Conferencing, Best UC Vendor <$ 100M, Managed Services partner of the year and Communication innovator of the year has been icing on the cake and something we are really proud of.
During the year, we have also increased in size. Not only through the many new talents we have hired into the Dstny family, but also through acquisitions.
With Tactful AI we strengthened ourselves with next-generation Customer Engagement technology. And with easybell, not only are we adding Germany as a country, one of the most exciting markets in Europe, but we are also gaining the knowledge from their digital mindset and their ability to sell products online.
Of course we have also grown our customer base, and we now have over 3 million Dstny Powered people, across the world.
The same day as we went live with our new brand, we also announced our sponsorship with the cycling team Lotto Soudal, soon to be Lotto Dstny. We are looking forward to following the team next year while at the same time making the most out of networking and hospitality opportunities provided in this popular sport.
Workshops, a hackathon, kickoffs, meetings, parties, progress, a lot of coffee and even more laughter has defined this year.
We are now gazing towards 2023. With a roadmap filled to the brim and expectations set high, we promise that next year will be even more exciting!
