What Dstny being voted Best UCaaS Provider EMEA means to us

There’s lots of awards out there, some more meaningful than others for a whole host of reasons. We’ve all seen the sea of shiny medals aimed at businesses that bear the title of ‘Leader’, ‘#1’ ‘Winner’, all ultimately translating to something along the lines of “You give us some money and we’ll give you a .jpg to put on your socials”. So with all that in mind, believe me when I say winning the Best UCaaS Provider EMEA category at this year's UC Awards legitimately means the world to us.

Last year, we fell at the finalist hurdle for this exact same category, losing to our esteemed competitors Enreach. Now, this was obviously not the best day at the office but as they say time heals all wounds. Instead of giving up we doubled down on our approach using some of our favourite Dstny powered people as the centrepiece to prove exactly why we’re the best provider of UC in EMEA. And now here we are, recognised as the best UCaaS provider in the region by some of the most recognised people in our industry – Here’s what got us across the line in first place.

How we improved experiences

To date, our UCaaS platform has improved the work lives of over 4 million people across more than a hundred countries. Through mobile connectivity, easy deployment and simple management, Dstny has enabled Service Providers, Distributors, Resellers and organizations across the world to communicate, collaborate and work in ways that work for them. From chocolatiers to mechanical engineers, here are a few of the places where Dstny has had an impact.

Dstny & Guylian

Famous for their irresistible Belgian chocolate seashells, Guylian faced a challenge that many companies will recognize: multiple devices, linked to multiple platforms, from multiple providers.

That changed the moment they discovered our all-in-one solution for business telephony. We helped them get all of their devices from rugged hardware to softphones working together. We even helped them replace their outdated DECT phones with standard mobile phones.

Dstny & DAK

Handling over 1500 calls per week in the complex financial market, one of the things that DAK prides themselves on is being easily accessible. To be able to do deliver on this, DAK had to be able to easily manage their calling solution and everything that comes with it. The company used Dstny SMP and Dstny Analytics to manage their call control and make sure they were using their communication data to its fullest and the rest of the Dstny UCaaS suite for everything else.

How we executed our vision for UCaaS

We’ve had a simple guiding mission for a while now – Lead the world in simple, mobile-first communications and help businesses around the globe thrive with our powerful integrations, comprehensive device management and market-leading partner enablement. We’ve progressed this mission massively over the past few years, with a number of new acquisitions allowing us to deliver our services into new and exciting markets. Because of this we’ve seen unprecedented growth in revenue (+33% since 2022, 33% growth in our global workforce (now over 1000 Dstny employees) and 100% growth in our global partnerbase (which now stands at over 1500 strong).

No matter if you’re in-office, hybrid, remote or deskless, our goal is to have a Dstny solution that helps people do what they need to do and say what they need to say in a way that works for them. And we’re well underway with this plan with a whole ecosystem aimed at various work flows and verticals with this award proving that we’re on the right track. But we’re not stopping here. As we strive to be the best we are also constantly looking to change the UC market for the better, no matter where people work from, what equipment they use or what industry they're in.
